FAQ

Is it a therapy?

Coaching is not a therapy, nor does it offer the promise of healing. Coaching is a way to unlock the ability to self-sustainability, self-help, self-support and independency from any crotches. Coaches are trained to see through the layers of habits and personas, in order to ask the right questions, and support the client to find their individual way of establishing a self-determined life and solution based thinking. A coach adapts to and works with the structures they find within their clients, their talents, abilities and personality streaks. Coaching can be supportive in addition to therapy, but does not replace it, and must be discussed with the therapist first.

How is a session build up and what can I expect?

In every session we will determine your status quo, your true needs and authentic wishes, we will analyse your structures upon which you keep the unwanted behaviour or thought pattern alive and ways to transform and work with yourself in order to overcome them lastingly.

Your story of the past is not an essential part of a coaching session, for it is not what has been, but for what is, that keeps you in the dark. Nevertheless we will go over the why and the when shortly, but not as extensively as in most therapies. Modern neuroscience shows, that when we dig too much into the past, we strengthen the neuronal network that keeps us there.

You will be given tasks to work with over the course of some time, which you are required to follow. If you find them unsuitable we will make sure to adjust and tweak them until you can and will follow your own reprogramming structure.

What is included in the price?

A session is set up to last 60 minutes. They can be happening on- or offline, which has no impact to the quality of the session. It includes the medical history form which will be sent prior to the session, and which the coach is studying prior to the session. Also do we provide the option for the client to reach out vie What’sApp for sudden questions or times of distress, throughout the time of working together. You will be provided with various tools, possibly links and material to work with, depend on your plan of action.

If you experience severe attacks and loss of control we ask you to instantaneously call your regional mental health support number which you can find online. What techniques are being used?

There are a wide range of techniques Esther sources from to reach the wanted goals with her clients. These range from hypnosis and hypnotic language (NLP), to therapeutic and Yoga meditation, pranayama, as well as energy work. Kundalini Yoga, tools from behavioural therapy, systemic coaching, method acting, vocal and bodywork, narrational speaking, stage appearance, negotiation skills, psychological- and mental assessment trainings are also part of her portfolio. Crisis management and dealing with cold depression are an essential part of her work. In addition she offers skills for leaders, meditation and cooperation training, and finally relationship trainings, using ancient and modern spiritual practices, as well as modern epigenetic and neuroscience. What is hypnosis like and how does it work?

No, you will not walk and tuck like a chicken under hypnosis. There is an internal instance in all of us, allowing or keeping us from doing such things, that may ridicule our human behaviour. Those who hop along stages under hypnosis internally decide to do so. Hypnosis and hypnotic language merely allows the hypnotist to bypass the self-restrictive layers of an unsupportive mindset and mental wiring aka conscious mind, in order to reach the state of honest connection to the self and our authenticity, which is based inside the subconscious mind. It can help to find clarity and i.e. disempower trauma-related behaviours, that have a wrong impact on the reality of the client.

Is there anything you need to know before the session?

Before our first session you will be provided with a medical history form in which we check if you are fit to do a coaching at this moment. We ask for your medications, current and past therapies and about what it is you seek to find. We will also ask, if you are aware and willing of the need to actively participate along the time of coaching, to make sure that the best outcome is possible and finds a good foundation.

How many sessions do I need?

Our standard is to go between one and maximum four sessions, for specific and targeted solutions, like getting tools and overcoming panic attacks and fears with the BERNHARDT METHODE. Oftentimes we see customers for one time only, handing them over a few options to work with by themselves, until they have seen the kind of change they were aiming for. We then may ask them to come in once more to tweak a little and get even sharper and more appointed, so that the unwanted issue will dissolve within a manageable amount of time.

For those clients who wish to be supported for a longer period, we find good and sustainable frames in which both parties can easily and happily work together. Within our phase of working together, you will be given the opportunity to reach out for questions and in need of instant support through What’sApp at any time, which is included in the pricing. Answers will be given within 24—48hrs max.

Is there anything I need to be aware and cautious of?

Some medications forbid us to work with certain techniques, for why it is crucial for us to know all your medical history, and possible drug abuse. There are reasons under which a hypnosis is not working and there is a rare kind of people that do not react to hypnosis.

Please make sure, after every session, to allow some free time (1hr the least) and not continue with business as usual, so that a proper implementation and rewiring process, thanks to the neuroplasticity of the brain, can take place and create functional and long-lasting connections.

What is different to other coaches and therapies?

Every coach has their own history of learnings, experiences and professional trainings. Esther’s background lies in the media and entertainment industry, which taught her to intensely study characters, physical appearances and their energetic foundations, mental and emotional structures, trauma, social and cultural background, as well as the dynamics of transformation and the functionalities of a vast amount of different personality types.
